Accounts Assistant // Liverpool City Centre // 18K – 22K // Well Established Company // 25 days AL + BHs // Developmental Role //

I am currently recruiting for a dynamic accounts assistant to join my highly regarded clients growing finance team. This role will be based in their prestigious city centre head office, reporting to the Finance Director. My client is looking for someone with a can do attitude who is keen to develop as the brand grows.

Duties include:

  • Dealing with all aspects of purchase ledger, including coding, checking, posting and paying of supplier invoices by BACS and Cheques;
  • Dealing with Utility Companies – resolving queries, providing meter readings;
  • Assisting with the production of monthly VAT reports;
  • Processing, coding and inputting daily tenants receipts, from bank statements and cheques;
  • Dealing with phone calls from suppliers and tenants;
  • Clients’ account bank reconciliations;
  • Preparation and production of Clients’ quarterly statements – including the production of fee accounts and distribution of Client funds;
  • Preparation and production of annual service charge reconciliations and budgets

Experience:

  • Sales & Purchase Ledger
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Credit Control
  • Expenses
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Excel
  • AAT Qualification
  • Sage would be desirable but not essential
