I am currently representing a Manchester based client with an exciting opportunity. Due to continued business growth they are recruiting for a team leader to manage a medium sized team. This role will suit a candidate that has people management skills, previous experience of developing and training a team and knowledge of credit applications, limits and control.

Job Description:

Management of team work flow to ensure the following processes are completed;

  • Managing a team to ensure all credit applications are processed effectively
  • Ensuring new accounts are credit checked
  • Ensuring new companies are set up accurately
  • Updating and checking of current customers credit limits
  • Management and resolution of any associated queries
  • Communicating effectively with both clients and credit control team members
  • Supporting credit control with chasing unpaid amounts

Management of the team and responsibility for;

  • All one to ones and appraisals
  • Recognising all team training needs and organising training courses as required
  • Monitoring and reporting of KPIs
  • Producing management reports

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of leading/ managing a team
  • Excellent people management skills

  • Time management skills
  • Ability to work to strict time frames in a fast paced environment
  • Credit checking, limits and control understanding and exposure
  • Strong Excel and computerised system skills
