I am looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join my market leading Salford based client on a permanent basis. The role will require the successful candidate to cover a national ledger of high value key accounts. The role will require the successful candidate to fully manage their own ledger and accounts whilst still supporting the wider team.

Job Description;

  • Proactively collect outstanding debt to ensure that overdue balances are kept to a minimum
  • Work to reduce ledger values
  • Management and resolution of any associated queries to ensure prompt payment
  • Allocate cash payments to relevant accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Report on any outstanding or problematic debt

Requirements;

  • Strong background in Credit Control
  • Previous experience within a fast paced environment and ability to work to tight time frames
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer focused approach
  • Problem solving ability
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Strong Excel and IT skills. SAP is highly advantageous, however not essential
