I’m currently dealing with a Large Independent accountancy practice in Chester looking for an experience Practice or Payroll Bureau Payroller to join their team.
The role will suit a capable payroller, who has experience of working within a payroll bureau, or an accountancy practice. Experience of processing medium to large company payrolls would also be of interest. Up to date knowledge of current payroll procedures and legislation is essential.
A hands-on position where you will be:
- processing multiple client payrolls
- dealing with SMP, SSP, and SPP
- preparing P11Ds
- dealing with HMRC on the client’s behalf
You will also be working with clients in order to meet auto-enrolment pension deadlines.
The role requires a confident approach with excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal staff and external agencies. A good level of IT literacy is important; working knowledge of Moneysoft Payroll software would be a real advantage.
