Experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk // Liverpool // 17K – 22K // Company Benefits // Free On-site Parking //

I am currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for a well established local company. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience on the accounts payable side of the ledger along with general accounts duties.

Duties:

  • Reconciling purchase ledger accounts
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Chasing suppliers for missing invoices
  • Financial analysis
  • Ensuring all invoices are coded to correct suppliers and nominal ledger account

Experience:

  • Extensive accounts receivable experience – minimum of 5 years
  • Higher end user of excel – pivot tables & vlookups
  • Retail experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Exposure to P & L
  • Understanding of capital costs etc.
