Purchase Ledger Clerk / Chester / Market Leader / Excellent Salary + Benefits / Permanent

NC Associates are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a market leading organisation based in the Chester. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their dynamic accounts department.

Duties Include:

  • High volume invoice processing
  • Query resolution and management regarding payments and invoices
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Management of high volume and varied work flow
  • Liaising across multiple business sites to ensure business efficiency
  • Ensuring all suppliers are paid within agreed payment time frames
  • Support with department projects as required

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Previous experience of working within a fast-paced accounts environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with both internal and external contacts
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent computerised system and Excel skills
  • Ability to identify problems as they arise and be pro-active in finding and implementing solutions
  • Desire to continue a career within Accounts Payable
