Sales Ledger Clerk / Knowsley / £18,000 – £22,000 / Excellent Benefits / Award Winning / Free Parking

Currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk for an award winning organisation based in Knowsley. You will be joining a fast paced team of 5 and be responsible for accurate processing of the sales ledger functions for a varied portfolio of clients.

Job Description:

  • Generating a high volume of sales invoices
  • Generating credit notes as required
  • Allocation of cash received to relevant accounts
  • Reporting of outstanding debtor balances to the credit manager
  • Proactive chasing of overdue payments
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers – especially key business accounts
  • Updating the sales ledger with payments received
  • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date sales ledger on accounting systems including Sage

Requirements:

  • Experience using Sage
  • Resilient with a proactive approach, determination and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • High level of attention to detail
