I am currently working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger clerk. This role will suit somebody who has working knowledge and experience of the end to end accounts payable process as well as a motivated and proactive personality. This role will require the successful candidate to work as part of a small and close knit team to manage and maintain processes for the accounts payable department.

Job Description:

  • Accounts payable invoice processing and payments
  • Accounting for company lease agreements on the purchase ledger
  • Reporting on online sales figures
  • Reconciliation of online sales figures
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Management of all inter company recharges
  • Employee expenses processing
  • Company credit card reconciliation
  • Company expenditure analysis
  • Banking and posting of incoming payments
  • Payment of hotel and travel expenses for employees required to travel
  • Petty cash management and reconciliation
  • Management and resolution of any associated queries

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience within a similar, senior accounts payables role
  • Have hands on experience of the full end to end purchases and payments process
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Excellent computerised systems skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
