Senior Accountant Role Overview
NC Associates are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant on behalf of our client based in Skelmersdale. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who will be joining an established business. As a Senior Accountant you will be working closely with senior members of the company, reporting into the Financial Manager.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Producing end-to-end management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Accruals & Prepayments, banking and bank reconciliations.
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset register
- Cashflow forecasting and management
- Maintaining credit management and debtor management systems.
- Reviewing internal controls and setting up new controls where necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Senior Accountant Experience Required:
- A professional accounting qualification – CIMA
- Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts is essential
- Strong Excel skills are essential
- Exceptional focus on accuracy and detail in all aspects of financial work.
- Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills
