Audit & Accounts Manager Role
Are you a qualified ACA/ACCA professional looking for your next challenge? We’re looking for an Audit & Accounts Manager to join a forward-thinking, independent accounting firm in Bradford.
This isn’t your run-of-the-mill accounting role. You’ll be managing your own portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors, leading audits, preparing accounts, and mentoring junior team members—all within a supportive, ambitious environment that genuinely values its people.
What you’ll be doing:
- Taking ownership of a diverse client portfolio and leading audit & accounts assignments.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff, helping them grow their careers.
- Reviewing work to ensure high standards and reporting directly to directors.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and acting as their go-to adviser.
- Working with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Getting involved in business development and supporting the firm’s growth initiatives.
- Managing work in progress, billing, and fees for your portfolio.
Who you are:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in audit and accounts.
- Confident with UK auditing & accounting standards.
- Excellent communicator with leadership and organisational skills.
- Proactive, client-focused, and professional.
- Full UK driving licence.
