Food and drink flowed all evening and our guests got the chance to learn how to play Texas Holdem Poker, with a two hour tutorial with one of the Casino’s Croupiers.

Unfortunately the weather was not great with 8 hours of heavy rain. However that didn’t dampen the spirits of the clients that joined us. We won’t mention their name but one of our guests (using their free £5 gaming chip) hit the jackpot and went home very happy.

It was great to see our guests networking and getting to know people within their pier groups. We got chance to meet some new clients who we haven’t traded with before and to reconnect with existing clients in a more informal setting.

As an immediate result of the evening we were given five new vacancies. Which meant we had to come in to work on the Friday and source candidates, with slightly sore heads.
