Accounts Payable Role

NC Associates are partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in Manchester to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk with CIS Experience on a temporary basis to help clear a back log of invoices. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with accounts payable experience to join a supportive team and further develop their career in finance. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth supplier payment processes while maintaining accurate financial records.

Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Managing the end-to-end purchase ledger, including matching, batching, and coding invoices.
• Ensuring timely payments to suppliers while maintaining strong working relationships.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
• Assisting with bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting the finance team with month-end close processes.
• Ensuring all transactions comply with company policies and financial regulations.
• Providing general finance support as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar Accounts Payable role.
• CIS Experience essential
• A strong understanding of invoice processing and supplier reconciliations.
• Good Excel skills and experience using finance systems.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high-volume workload.
• Great communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• A proactive and team-focused attitude.
