Bookkeeping Associate Role
NC Associates is proud to be working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in the centre of Chester. The business is ambitious, forward-thinking, and committed to delivering outstanding service as accountants, auditors, and advisers. They are now looking for a Bookkeeping Associate to join their growing Chester office.
Bookkeeping Associate Responsibilities
- Bank analysis and reconciliation
- Sales ledger reconciliation and credit control
- Processing purchase ledger transactions
- WIP and billing administration
- Supporting external client bookkeeping services
- General practice admin and marketing support when needed
Bookkeeping Associate Experience Required
- Previous bookkeeping experience is essential, ideally supported by an AAT Level 2 qualification
- Highly organised, proactive and detail-driven
- Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable manner
- Confident with IT, especially Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Previous use of Xero, Sage or CCH is an advantage, but not essential
- Quick to pick up new systems and ways of working
