We are working in partnership with a growing, well-established organisation based in Manchester City Centre to recruit an experienced Management Accountant. This is a key role within the finance team, providing accurate and insightful management reporting to support decision-making at all levels. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing commercial insight across the business.
Management Accountant Duties

Preparing monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts

Performing variance analysis and reporting key financial metrics to senior management

Monitoring and reporting on business performance, highlighting trends and risks

Assisting with financial planning, cost analysis, and ad-hoc projects

Supporting month-end and year-end processes

Working collaboratively across departments to provide financial guidance and insight

Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Essential Experience Required
To be successful in your application you MUST have the following:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or part-qualified

Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar management reporting role

Strong technical knowledge of management accounting principles

Experience producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts

Excellent Excel and financial systems skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
