Sales Ledger Clerk/ Study Support/ 6 Months + Previous Experience/ Entry Level Role/ Career Development/ Agile Working/ 26 Days Holiday + BH 

I am working on a new vacancy for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join my city centre client. This role will be ideal for a candidate who is in the early stages of their AAT studies and has some previous office experience – Ideally with exposure to billing or invoicing duties. My client can offer a study support package, career development paths and an extensive benefits package. Working hours will be split between the office and remote working. 

Job Description: 

  • Managing the sales ledger process to ensure that invoices are prepared and sent out in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitoring the sales ledger inbox and prioritising requests accordingly
  • Generating and amending invoices, billing for services
  • Preparation of reconciliations, reports, and ad hoc information as required
  • Support the wider finance team with any additional support as required 
  • Some Credit Control duties 
  • Allocating payments 


  • Previous office experience (Minimum 6 months) 
  • Understanding of sales ledger processes 
  • Ideally studying towards AAT and keen to continue 
  • Keen to pursue a career in finance 
  • Positive and motivated work ethic 
  • Proactive mentality 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • A high degree of attention to detail
