Sales Ledger Clerk Clerk Role Overview
As the Sales Ledger Clerk Clerk, you will be working as part of a small team and be responsible for managing the accounts receivable and credit control process. You will work closely with and report into the Financial Controller.
Sales Ledger Clerk Clerk Responsibilities:
- Raising invoices
- Raising credit notes
- Cash allocation
- Proactively chasing overdue debts
- Sending customer statements
- Any ad hoc duties – problem solving
- Telephone enquiries internal and external
Sales Ledger Clerk Clerk Experience Required
- Experienced in a similar accounts or admin role with a good work ethic, effective communication and time management skills.
- Sage 50 experience would be ideal
- Excel – vlookups and pivot tables
- Flexibility towards tasks with the ability to work effectively using own initiative
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to work
