Purchase Ledger Clerk Overview
NC Associates are working with a well-established and growing business based in Ellesmere Port, who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary ongoing basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a collaborative team.
The role will focus on ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and supporting the wider finance function with day-to-day transactional duties.
Purchase Ledger Clerk Key Responsibilities
· Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
· Matching, batching, and coding invoices
· Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
· Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships
· Preparing and processing payment runs
· Ensuring all transactions are recorded in line with company procedures
· Supporting month-end processes where required
· Assisting with general finance administration tasks
Purchase Ledger Clerk Experience
· Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
· Experience working in a high-volume environment
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
· Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
