Chartered Accountant Overview
NC Associates are partnering with a growing accountancy practice in Wrexham to recruit a qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a client portfolio while developing their advisory, leadership, and relationship management skills. Working closely with senior leadership, you will become a key point of contact for clients while supporting the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
· Managing a portfolio of SME clients
· Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
· Preparing and reviewing corporation tax, personal tax, VAT, and CIS returns
· Leading client meetings and providing ongoing advice and support
· Preparing management accounts, forecasts, and business reports
· Supporting clients with cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks
· Reviewing work and mentoring junior team members
· Identifying opportunities to add value through advisory services
Experience Required
· ACA or ACCA qualified
· Previous experience within accountancy practice
· Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and UK tax compliance
· Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
· Excellent communication and client relationship skills
· Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff would be advantageous
